Hello all! As you can see this is a brand new site and its taking us a little bit of time to get it up off the ground and running. Over all we here have been working to bring you all a better rping experience.
Along with the new upgrades we've been busy working on different options to makes the member's experience here more enjoyable. This here is one such option.
It has been noted that many members have at least two characters. Many of you have upwards of six or even eight characters you play as! Now having all those characters on the same account can become a little confusing when it comes to rping. As such we've come up with a way for you to make things a little easier if you so wish.
We are offering the option of members having second, third, fourth and even fifth avatars. Now I'm pretty sure you are wondering how this can be achived. It is unseen by members but in their profile there is an option for a Custom Title which only staff members can see. This little area also allows for images to be placed. This area here is where the url for the second avatar shall be placed. This way one can display the avatars of their different characters without constantly having to swap out their main avatar for another.
I'm sure you're also wondering how you can fit four image codes into this little area. Upload the image into tiny pic. Tiny pic will shorten the url. The shorter the URL the more pictures you can fit in this area.
Now then, this system is optionable, however it is not completely free. This is what one would call a reward based system. Members will be allowed more avatars based upon their post counts. Here is how it works:
Second Avatar: 150 posts
Third Avatar: 300 posts
Fourth Avatar: 600 posts
Fifth Avatar: 950 posts
Once you reach the required number of posts you may PM a staff member and request another avatar.
There is one more thing I must explain, there are size limits on these avatars. In order to prevent the side profile page from stretching the largest any avatar can be is 100x100 pixels Please read the post below for examples and descriptions of the different sizes you may use.
One last thing, as you gain more avatars, the size allowed decreases. If you wish to have only one avatar the size allowed is 100x100. If you want another avatar both avatars must be reduced to a size of at least 75x75. These reductions in size is to make sure the side profile does not stretch out and become distorted.
